Congrats to Team 7 on their Silver medal at Semaine Olympique Françoise this weekend. It looked like an up and down regatta for these Yngling sailors but their perseverance and dedication paid off with two firsts in their last three races, including a key first finish in the medal round. While I’m sure the view from the second step in Hyeres, France was a good one, I bet it also felt good for T7 to get one back from GBR12.
In the end, it looks like a decision to stay out of the pack and avoid playing games paid off. Life-lessons played out to perfection on the high seas. A beautiful thing.
