We came across this story about a fire captain that's sailing a 17 ft wooden sailboat from Washington D.C. to New York hoping to raise money and awareness for Autism. It's a 425 mile journey and he'll be escorted along the way by Coast Guard and local emergency services.
The charity benficiary is autism Speaking and you can track the baot through their blog "The Voyage For Autism".
